# Are backups billed extra?

|| With Odoo Cloud by Hodi, backup storage is included in our plans.

You get daily backups with no volume-based surcharge, for billing that stays readable and predictable over time.

## What's included, concretely

* An **automatic nightly backup** of each Odoo instance, database and attachments included
* The **on-demand backups** you trigger yourself from Hodiploy, as often as you need
* **7 backup slots per instance**, **6 of which can be locked** so they are never replaced by a more recent backup
* **Restores**, onto the instance itself or into a new instance, self-service from the interface
* **Storage off your server**, on infrastructure dedicated to that purpose

None of this is billed by volume or per operation.
