# I'm taking part in the Webcup: what does Hodi offer me?

For several years now, Hodi has been proud to be the **official partner of the Webcup**, providing high-performance, eco-responsible, and local hosting infrastructure. Every team gets a server located as close as possible to their location (in Réunion, Mauritius, or Madagascar) for optimal responsiveness throughout the competition.

**New: Hodifly is built into your cPanel.** Connect your GitHub or GitLab repository and every `git push` puts your site live automatically, with instant rollback if something breaks. No more FTP in the middle of the night: you code, you push, it's live (see section 4).

> Once the competition is over, if you enjoyed the experience of Hodi's local servers, we've designed an **exclusive offer**, MINISITE WEBCUP, for former competitors like you! It includes everything in the standard MINISITE package, plus support for Node.js, Python, and Ruby, SSH / Terminal access, and of course **Hodifly** so you can keep deploying from GitHub or GitLab just like during the competition :)
>
> And of course the price is the same: **€9.90 per month** (or Rs 495 for Mauritians and Rodriguans), **with a free domain name and 10 email accounts** included!

As part of this partnership, you'll get a **cPanel server** free of charge to publish your projects online. cPanel is a simple, intuitive web interface that makes it easy to manage website hosting, databases, and many other services without advanced technical skills. Your server is managed, secured, backed up, and monitored throughout the competition.
Here's how to get started with your server:
---
### 1. How do I create my server with Hodi?
Before you can create your server, **your team must be complete**, meaning that all the participants you invited must have accepted the invitation and completed their registration form on the dashboard.

Your server is created directly by the **team captain** (and only them) from the **24H by Webcup dashboard**, via the link [https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/](https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/).

Activating your server can take a few dozen minutes, so feel free to go grab a coffee (or a tea) while Hodi's little robots work for you :)
---
### 2. How do I access my server once it's created?
Once your server is created, you can access it via your 24h by Webcup dashboard, available at [https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/](https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/):

![](https://hodi.host/images/kb/187_Screenshot-2025-05-10-at-17.19.40.png)Simply click the "cPanel Access" button and make a note of your cPanel username shown in the same block.
---
### 3. I've lost my password, how do I reset it?
Please note that resetting your password is not done via the "Server Access" button, even though there is a link provided for that: it is reserved for Hodi clients.

You need to reset your password directly on your 24h via Webcup dashboard, via the link [https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/](https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/):

### 4. The fastest route: publish with Hodifly, without touching FTP
Over 24 hours, time spent configuring a server is time taken from your project. Two shortcuts, depending on what you are building:

**You are writing code (React, Vue, Astro, Next.js, Laravel, Symfony, Django, Rails…)** → use **Hodifly**, in cPanel. Connect your GitHub or GitLab repository and every `git push` puts the site live: build and release, with nothing to upload by hand. If you break something at 4am, rolling back is instant from cPanel: probably the argument that matters most during a Webcup.

**You are going with WordPress** → install it **in one click** from cPanel (the "Software" section, WordPress Toolkit). Theme, plugins and accounts are ready in minutes, with no file transfer.
||| 💡 Tip: set Hodifly up in the first hour, before you have anything to publish. Once the repository is connected, shipping a new version is automatic.
---
### 5. How do I access my server via FTP or SSH?
You can access your server via FTP or SSH:
- Hostname: your website's address
- Login: same login as cPanel (it is not "root")
- Password: same password as cPanel
- Base directory: `public_html` (Node.js, Python and Ruby applications get their own folder, set when you create them)
- Port: **21** (for FTP) and **22974** (for SSH)
