# Why can't I see the changes to my site?

As part of our commitment to sobriety ([learn more about our approach](https://hodi.host/mi-heberge-ter-la)), we use a caching solution on our servers: **NGINX**.

When you update your site, it may take up to 1 hour for the update to become visible. However, [from cPanel](https://help.hodi.host/en/article/how-do-i-access-cpanel-en4rsm/), you can choose to clear the cache manually, or even temporarily disable it via the "NGINX Cache" section on the right side of your screen:

Your developer can also change the cache duration via the Cache-Control header ([learn more](https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/4404444753175-How-to-Control-Website-Caching-for-cPanel-s-Provided-NGINX)).

Don't forget to also clear your browser cache and re-enable the NGINX cache once you've finished making your changes.

> You can also clear the cache via SSH or via a [cron job](https://help.hodi.host/en/article/how-do-i-add-a-scheduled-task-cron-16qwojg/) using the uapi NginxCaching clear_cache command.
