Your site displays an unexplained 403 "Forbidden" error

If you get a 403 error, the most common reason is that you have not uploaded your site to the correct location.
You must upload your site to the "public_html" directory and name your main file "index.html" or "index.php".
We invite you to check your FTP configuration, see the FTP FAQ.
It may also be a problem with your ".htaccess" file that contains incorrect instructions. To check, rename the file ".htaccess" to ".htaccess.bak". If that resolves the problem, we invite you to review the contents of your ".htaccess" file.
Finally, it may be a permissions issue on your folders and/or files. Your folders and files should have 755 permissions. Please refer to your FTP client documentation to check permissions.
Of course, if you cannot find the cause, our technical support team can help you.
