What is Hodiploy and what is it for?
You've subscribed to Odoo Cloud by Hodi and you're seeing "Hodiploy" mentioned in your client area? It's our in-house tool, designed to give you real control over your Odoo instances, without going through a generic interface. Here's what it actually lets you do.
What exactly is Hodiploy?
Hodiploy is the management platform developed by our teams for managing Odoo instances hosted with Hodi. It was designed as a more complete and flexible alternative to the standard Odoo.sh interface, particularly for Odoo integrators managing several instances for several clients.
Directly linked to your Hodi account, Hodiploy centralizes everything you need in one place to create, monitor, and manage your Odoo environments, from development through to production.
What you can do with it
Get a clear overview of all your instances
As soon as you log in, you can see at a glance the status of each instance (active, running, offline), its version, its environment (production, development, staging), its last update, and its last Git deployment. Handy for knowing exactly where things stand, especially if you're managing several projects in parallel.
Create a new instance in a few clicks
Naming your instance, choosing between a hodiploy.app subdomain or your own domain name, selecting the Odoo version you want, all of it is done directly from the interface.
Link your Git repository
Hodiploy has native support for Git repository management (GitHub, GitLab, etc.), with deployment tracking, branch display, and update history. Ideal if you develop custom modules and want to deploy them automatically.
Adjust the resources of each instance
CPU, RAM, number of workers, you can scale up the power allocated to each instance as your needs grow, without having to change plans or wait for us to step in.
Configure your email sending
You can use our built-in SMTP server or configure your own, with full control over ports, encryption, and authentication.
Track your logs and receive alerts
Each instance has direct access to its logs (maintenance windows, scheduled updates, module errors, technical alerts). You can also enable email alerts to be notified if something goes wrong, without having to monitor things yourself around the clock.
How to access it:
- Log in to your Hodi Client Area
- Find your service on your Dashboard and click "Odoo Cloud"
- In the left-hand sidebar menu, under the "Actions" section, click "Login to Hodiploy"
You'll then land directly on the Hodiploy interface, where your active instances are listed and where you can create new ones using the "+ New instance" button.
