What is the difference between WordPress Toolkit and WordPress Toolkit Deluxe?
WordPress Toolkit is an interface integrated into cPanel that allows you to easily install, configure, and manage WordPress sites.
This interface is available in two versions:
- WP Toolkit: this version, included in our Minisite plan, provides essential tools to easily manage one or more WordPress sites;
- WP Toolkit Deluxe: this is a more comprehensive version, included in our Site Pro and VIP plans, for users seeking more advanced and automated management of their sites.
WP Toolkit
WP Toolkit offers the following features:
- Centralized management: all WordPress sites are displayed in a single dashboard, allowing you to view the update and security status of all sites and easily access management tools.
- Custom installation: new WordPress sites can be installed in seconds, and each site can be customized before installation (installation path, site title, administrator details, database name and password, automatic update settings).
- One-click login: logging into the dashboard of any WordPress site managed by WP Toolkit is done with a single click.
- Automatic security hardening: during installation, security improvements are applied, such as restricting access to sensitive files, disabling pingbacks, or configuring security keys.
- Debug management: WordPress debug modes can be quickly enabled from the dashboard.
- Plugin and theme management: automatic installation of predefined plugins and themes during site installation.
- Automatic updates for a single site: automatic update settings for WordPress sites, their themes, and their plugins can be changed from cPanel.
WP Toolkit Deluxe
WP Toolkit Deluxe includes everything in WP Toolkit, plus sophisticated mass management and site cloning tools - making it even faster and more convenient to manage a large number of WordPress sites:
- WordPress site cloning and staging: with a single click, you can clone a WordPress site managed by WP Toolkit Deluxe - which is very useful when you want to test changes and new features.
- Smart updates: WP Toolkit Deluxe allows you to automatically test updates in a staging environment to ensure their compatibility before deploying them.
- Security management: ability to easily apply recommended security measures in bulk across multiple sites.
- Automated mass management: simplifies maintenance by allowing the scheduling and execution of updates or other administrative tasks across multiple sites simultaneously.
