Your site displays a 503 "Service Unavailable" error

If you get a 503 error, it means the server is not ready to handle the request.

What are the most common causes?

Most often, this error is caused by server overload or server maintenance.

How to fix it?

You can first check the server status to make sure no ongoing maintenance is reported.

You can also check resource usage.

To do this, go to cPanel, under the Metrics section, and click on Resource Usage.

Then click on Current usage, and select a time period (via the Timeframe menu).

Among the graphs, look for the one titled "Faults": you will see, if applicable, spikes indicating the moments when your site needed more resources. The type of resources involved is also specified (CPU, memory, etc.).

In case of repeated faults, you can try using PHP X-Ray to identify the WordPress plugin that could be causing them: How to use PHP X-Ray to find out what is slowing down your site?.

You can also upgrade your plan to get more power, for example by switching to the SITE PRO plan: How to change your plan?.
