Can I block access to my server?

Yes, and you control it directly: your server has a firewall page in Hodiploy, under Settings > Firewall (reserved to the account's admins).

Restricting the web (port 443)

By default your instances answer everyone on the web. You can restrict port 443 to a list of IP addresses or CIDR ranges: an office, a VPN, a partner. Anyone not on the list is blocked on every instance of the server.

Careful: services that need to call your instances (for example, payment providers) may need access to your server. Check the list with your various partners. Port 80 stays open: it only serves certificate issuance and renewal, and gives no access to your ERPs.

Going further: connecting the server to your network (IPsec)

For complete isolation, we can connect your server to your existing network through an IPsec tunnel (site-to-site VPN): your instances are then reachable only from your network, as if the server sat inside your walls. And for people on the move or working remotely, we can provide VPN clients: each joins the network from their own machine and reaches the instances normally. The IPsec tunnel and the VPN clients are paid add-on options, set up with our team: contact support.
