Can I manage multiple Odoo instances from a single interface?
Yes, absolutely. It's even one of the main points of Hodiploy, our management platform for Odoo Cloud by Hodi. Whether you're a company with several environments (production, staging, development) or an integrator managing instances for several clients, everything is centralised in one place.
An overview of all your instances
As soon as you log in to Hodiploy, you get the full list of your Odoo instances, each with its status (active, in progress, offline, backing up or restoring), its version, its Git branch, its last ERP update and its last Git deployment. No more logging into each instance separately to know where you stand, everything is visible at a glance.
Deleted instances appear in a separate section, for as long as their backups last.
Create and administer each instance independently
From that same interface, you can create a new instance in a few clicks, choose its name, its domain (hodiploy.app subdomain or custom domain), its Odoo version and its edition. Each instance then keeps its own configuration, its own Git repository, its own allocated resources (CPU, RAM, workers), its own backups, its own logs and its own activity log, without one instance's settings affecting another's.
Move between instances without starting over
Because everything lives in one place, operations that span two instances become trivial: duplicate production to get yourself a sandbox, restore a backup into another instance to reproduce a bug without touching the real thing, or bring back an instance deleted by mistake.
One thing to know about those copies: when you restore a backup into a new instance, its scheduled jobs and email sending are disabled by default, so a test environment doesn't write to your real customers. A duplicate, on the other hand, is a faithful copy: remember to switch it to MailHog before using it as a sandbox.
Especially useful for integrators
If you manage Odoo for several clients, Hodiploy saves you from juggling multiple accounts or interfaces. You run your whole fleet of instances from your single Hodi account, which considerably simplifies day-to-day monitoring, whether it's tracking updates, adjusting resources as a client grows, or reacting quickly to an alert.
