Is my data backed up?

Yes. At Hodi, backing up your data is included by default, with no action needed on your part. Here's exactly what that covers.

A standard backup

The location of this backup depends on your hosting type:

• Web hosting: your data is backed up out-of-country, to a second data center.
• Dedicated virtual server: your data is backed up in-country, to meet compliance and regulatory requirements (in particular data-localization obligations).

Your backups are taken automatically and daily, and kept for a rolling 30 days on web hosting, and a rolling 7 days on dedicated virtual servers. You don't have to schedule anything: the system runs in the background.

Restoring service: best effort on standard plans

If needed, we restore your data and get your service back up as fast as possible (best effort), with no contractual time commitment on standard plans. For most businesses, this level of protection is enough.

Need more? Enhanced continuity options
