What are Hodi's DNS servers?

When you already have your domain name and wish to keep it with your current registrar, you need to change the DNS servers of your domain so that you can use it on our infrastructure* :

  • ns1.hodi.host
  • ns2.hodi.host
  • ns3.hodi.host

If you are curious, you should know that these DNS servers are distributed across three different countries and operators for reasons of security, resilience and performance, namely there is one in Réunion, one in France and one in Germany.

* We are not big fans of asterisks at Hodi but this one was worth it. In practice, you can keep the DNS servers wherever you want, you just need to manually copy the DNS zone provided by cPanel to your current DNS provider. But it can be long and tedious, which is why we recommend changing your DNS. And since we have DNS servers in Reunion Island, we are normally faster than your current DNS provider
