How do I increase my VPS resources (vCPU, RAM, storage)?
In short
Upgrading your VPS resources, whether the number of vCPUs (virtual processor cores), the amount of RAM (memory) or the storage volume, is done on request through our support team. There is no self-service upgrade button.
It is also a useful conversation: rather than oversizing as a precaution, we look together at what your business actually needs.
How to request it
Open a ticket with our technical support, specifying:
- the VPS concerned (name or identifier);
- the target resources: how many vCPUs, how many GB of RAM, how many GB of storage;
- if possible, the reason (traffic spike, new application, e-commerce growth, etc.): this helps us guide you as accurately as possible.
We then confirm feasibility, the corresponding price, and the timing of the work.
Good to know
- Your data and configuration are kept. An upgrade adds resources; it does not reinstall your server.
- A brief interruption may be required. Our technical support will let you know.
- Increasing vCPU and RAM is reversible. And with no commitment.
- Storage can be increased but not reduced. It is better to size upward in line with your trajectory.
