I'm taking part in the Webcup: what does Hodi offer me?

For several years now, Hodi has been proud to be the official partner of the Webcup, providing high-performance, eco-responsible, and local hosting infrastructure. In 2025, we're taking it even further: every team now gets direct access to a server located as close as possible to their location — in Réunion, Mauritius, or Madagascar — for optimal responsiveness and unmatched comfort throughout the competition.

Once the competition is over, if you enjoyed the experience of Hodi's local servers, we've designed an exclusive offer, MINISITE WEBCUP, for former competitors like you! It includes everything in the standard MINISITE package, plus support for Node.js, Python, and Ruby, because we know you love these technologies, and also SSH / Terminal access

And of course the price is the same: €9.90 per month (or Rs 495 for Mauritians and Rodriguans), with a free domain name and 10 email accounts included!

As part of this partnership, you'll get a cPanel server free of charge to publish your projects online. cPanel is a simple, intuitive web interface that makes it easy to manage website hosting, databases, and many other services without advanced technical skills. Your server is managed, secured, backed up, and monitored throughout the competition.

Here's how to get started with your server:

1. How do I create my server with Hodi?

Before you can create your server, your team must be complete, meaning that all the participants you invited must have accepted the invitation and completed their registration form on the dashboard.

Your server is created directly by the team captain (and only them) from the 24H by Webcup dashboard, via the link https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/.

Activating your server can take a few dozen minutes, so feel free to go grab a coffee (or a tea) while Hodi's little robots work for you

2. How do I access my server once it's created?

Once your server is created, you can access it via your 24h by Webcup dashboard, available at https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/:

Simply click the "cPanel Access" button and make a note of your cPanel username shown in the same block.

3. I've lost my password, how do I reset it?

Please note that resetting your password is not done via the "Server Access" button, even though there is a link provided for that: it is reserved for Hodi clients.

You need to reset your password directly on your 24h via Webcup dashboard, via the link https://24h.webcup.fr/dashboard/info-serveur/:

4. How do I access my server via FTP or SSH?

You can access your server via FTP or SSH:

  • Hostname: your website's address
  • Login: same login as cPanel (it is not "root")
  • Password: same password as cPanel
  • Base directory: public_html (except for Node.js, Python, or Ruby: see the FAQs below)
  • Port: 21 (for FTP) and 22974 (for SSH)
